UPCOMING EVENTS
Tuesday, October 21, 2008 will be our first
food serving at the Union Baptist Church. 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Volunteers this
month are Barry, Alix and Maureen.
Saturday,
October 25, 2008 we are gathering for the
Adopt A Highway Cleanup. Hope to see a few Rotarians there. (8 AM at the
LaQuinta (Old Ramada on Route 9A) We have 26 INTERACT Students signed up
to help out.
HAPPY BUCKS - Collected $52.00
Alix is happy that her son is coming home and will hopefully get to see him
for half an hour, Phil, as always, brought his good humor with him. our
guest. John Flynn was happy to be with us, much happiness for Doria’s
daughter’s 8 year old birthday, Charlie & Maureen with baseball talk, Joe V.
had 31 happy bucks to be able to celebrate 31 years since his heart attack,
Barry looking forward to seeing his children on his trip this weekend to
Newport.
50/50 was won by Phil who drew the four of diamonds. The Queen now has a
value of $523.00.
